ELKHART — Wilma "Bernice" Lance, 75, of Elkhart, passed away Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012, while at her residence.
She was born Oct. 28, 1937, in Knoxville, Tenn., to Fred and Dora M. (Strevel) Richards.
Survivors include three daughters, Kathy (Steve) Barlow of Ridgeway, Mich., Deborah (Leonard) Popow of Orlando, Fla., and Michelle Lance of Rogers, Ky.; sister Darlene (Robert) Roberts of Elkhart; brother Bill (Melba) Greene of Corrington, Tenn.; four granddaughters, Nichole Moya, Jennifer Lance, Jessica Puroll and Natasha Popow; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Donald Kamp.
Bernice was employed for 20 years at Philips Products Inc. prior to her retirement in 2001.
The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, memorial service at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. Pastor Bob Wood will officiate.
Interment of her cremated remains will follow in Rice Cemetery.
