ELKHART: William John "Bill" Macioce Jr., 46, of Elkhart, passed away Wednesday evening January 17, 2024 at his home. Bill was born on May 13, 1977 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Bill and Florence Elsie (Duessel) Macioce Sr. In addition to his parents, a brother Keith Brian Simanovich, preceded him in death. He is survived by his children, son, Dominik J. Macioce, daughter Grace Macioce; two brothers, Lonny J. Simanovich, Joseph Paul Simanovich and his sister Lisa Marie (James) Clarkson; niece Stephanie Simanoivch (Mullen), two nephews, Keith Simanovich Jr., and Dennis Simanovich.

William, as his family knew him, and Bill to his friends, was the recent manager at Advance Auto Parts on Cassopolis Street. Prior to that, Bill was a parts salesperson at Advanced Auto Parts on Nappanee Street for 5+ years. He loved life, cold beer, cars, motorcycles, guns and was restoring a 1959 Ford Edsel. Bill, was a former Boy Scout leader and a patriot who "Knew No Enemies." Most of all, his beloved children were the center of his life.

A private family visitation has been held. A celebration of life will be in Elkhart,  and one in Pittsburgh, PA this summer. No dates have been set. Bill was cremated under the care of Billings Funeral Home and Altera Cremation Services of Elkhart. Bill's cremated remains will be placed in Pittsburgh, PA next to his mother and father.
