Warren G. Baumgardner, 39, of Elkhart, IN passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 31, 2026 at Elkhart General Hospital.

Warren was born on September 10, 1986 in Elkhart, IN to Ron Baumgardner and Sue (Wilson) Baumgardner.

Warren is survived by his parents, Ron and Sue Baumgardner; siblings, Craig (Wendy) Baumgardner and David Baumgardner (Kayla Scott); grandmother, Wanda Baumgardner; nephews and nieces, Madison Baumgardner, Kira Baumgardner, Josiah Baumgardner, Jameesha Gates, Aleecia Scott-Baumgardner, Kyree Scott-Baumgardner, Teeala Scott-Baumgardner and Lamireeya Scott-Baumgardner; grand niece and nephew, Olivia Ottman and Elijiah McNeil; many loving aunts, uncles and cousins and friends.

Warren was a proud 2005 graduate of Elkhart Memorial High School. A dedicated and hardworking individual, Warren brought his strong work ethic as a forklift driver at Flexible Concepts in Elkhart as well as logistics at Bimbo Bakeries.

Known for his friendly, social personality and a true servant’s heart, Warren was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He brought immense joy to those around him, whether he was singing his heart out at karaoke or sharing his incredible baking talents. Family and friends will long remember his delicious cakes, cookies, and signature moon cakes.

Outside of work and baking, Warren was an avid fan of pop culture and gaming. He loved the worlds of Star Wars and Marvel, and spent many happy hours playing Super Mario Brothers, always favoring his favorite character, Yoshi. His warm smile and generous spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A Funeral Service for Warren will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, IN 46514 with Matthew McAfee officiating.

Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the start of the service from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
