BRISTOL — Waneta M. Baltimore, 88, of Bristol, passed away Tuesday, May 26, at Elkhart Hospice House.
She was born Dec. 16, 1926, in Mattawan, Mich., one of 12 children born to the late Clarence and Blanche (Shelters) Casselman.
She married Albert Baltimore in August 1971. He preceded her in death, as well as her sons, Ronald and David Schott, six brothers and five sisters. Surviving are her two sons, James "Jim" Luce and Daniel (Kathy) Schott Jr., both of Elkhart; daughters Judy (Robert) Smith of Elkhart and Kathy Schott of Bristol; nine grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.
Waneta was a loving homemaker; she enjoyed reading, playing cards and spending time with her family.
Services celebrating Waneta's life will begin at 6 p.m. Monday, June 1, at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. The Rev. Gerald Casselman will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until the service time. Graveside services and burial will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday June 2, in Rice Cemetery.
