She was born July 1, 1931, and is survived by three daughters, Linda K. and Cheryl Anderson, both of Elkhart, and Jackie Lukes of Kingsford Heights; one son, Dennis Anderson; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by two grandchildren.

Friends may call one hour prior to the 11 a.m. Tuesday funeral service at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. The Rev. Keith McFarren of Faith United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Little Pine Cemetery.

Ms. Anderson walked daily along Bristol Street, collecting cans. She enjoyed using the proceeds from the cans to buy Christmas present for her family. She also enjoyed teddy bears.
