Obituary

Walter H. "Wally" Swetcoff, 58, of Bristol, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 22, 2021 in Jones, MI. He was born in Willard, OH on October 27, 1962 to the late Walter and Genevieve (Spears) Swetcoff.

He is survived by his loving wife, Amy Swetcoff; daughter, Brittany Mora; son, Dominick Swetcoff; brother, Timothy (Gena) Swetcoff; a sister; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Friends and family are called to gather on Thursday, April 29, 2021 from 4-6 p.m. at Middlebury Community Church of the Nazarene, 11435 W 025 S, Middlebury, IN 46540.  A service will follow at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Gary Sheets officiating. In accordance with Wally's wishes, cremation will follow services at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St. and Altera Cremation Services in Elkhart. Memorial donations may be given directly to his wife, Amy, to help pay for funeral expenses.

Wally worked for the City of Sturgis by day and was a fun-loving DJ who loved to sing by night. He was an avid member of Middlebury Community Church of the Nazarene where he enjoyed hearing the word of Christ from Pastor Gary. He and his wife, Amy, were inseparable and were each other's whole world and so much more. Rarely would you see Wally without her by his side. They did everything together from spending time in Florida to singing and being the DJ for Karaoke events. He enjoyed singing with his daughter and he would enjoy singing the tunes of Elvis Presley, Wilson Pickett, and Bob Seger.

Any chance he got, he enjoyed feeling free and riding his motorcycle "Black Betty" (Bam-ba-lam). Wally was a devoted motorcyclist and was all about revving up his Harley's. He also enjoyed being out on the water whether it be fishing, boating, or just enjoying the summer sun.

Wally had a big heart with enough love to go around. Words cannot express how much he will be missed by his loving family, many friends, and the number of lives he has touched over the years. "Life's a Ride, so Enjoy the Ride." - Wally Swetcoff
