Obituary
ELKHART — Virginia L. Welch, 70, of Elkhart, passed away peacefully following an extended illness Tuesday, Nov. 8, at Eastlake Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Elkhart.
She was born April 15, 1946, to the late Raymond M. and Virginia A. (Beam) Dick.
She is survived by her children, Sue (Ron) Baumgardner, Charles Wilson and Tracey (Rachelle) Roberts; as well as nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Seven siblings preceded her in death.
A memorial celebration of Virginia's life will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, at Bethel Assembly of God, 600 E. Bristol St., Elkhart, with Pastor David Lade.
Virginia was a cashier at the Faith Mission and had managed several area rental properties.
Virginia loved to help others and was very proud of her humanitarian involvement.
She spent nearly a decade with Family Services and the Salvation Army.
Arrangements have been placed under the care of Billings Funeral Home of Elkhart.
