Obituary
EDWARDSBURG -- Virginia E. Seal, 61, of 19250 State Line Road, formerly of Riverside Terrace Apartments, Elkhart, died at 6:55 a.m. Saturday (July 15, 2006) at the residence of her daughter, Cathy Marley, where she was residing, due to an extended battle with cancer.
She was born Jan. 15, 1944, in Elkhart to John F. and Ruth O. (Hawkins) Cora.
Friends may call one hour prior to the Wednesday noon service at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. A cremation is scheduled following the services.
Ms. Seal was a driver for Ace Cab Company in Elkhart for four years until her health required her early retirement. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting, with pillows and blankets being among her specialties. She also spent most of the time outdoors, where she could be found feeding the birds or watching the squirrels.
