GOSHEN — Virginia Nelson, 77, of Goshen, passed away peacefully at Courtyard Healthcare Center in Goshen on Friday, October 26, 2018.

She was born in Hollandale, Michigan, June 27, 1941, to the late Emmit and Edna (Wilson) Nelson.

Surviving are her children, Orlando (Lisa) Nelson and Arshea Branch; brothers Maurice and Murray Nelson; sisters Bessie McCray, JoAnn Daniels, and Geraldine Williams; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded by 12 brothers and sisters.

Virginia was a homemaker and a home healthcare nurse for the elderly and ill.

A memorial service will be at Billings Funeral Home in Elkhart at noon Sunday, Nov. 4, with visitation beginning at 11 a.m.

Grandson Kenneth Branch, and son Orlando Nelson will officiate, and cremation has taken place.
