Virginia C. Gullett, 82, of Elkhart, passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Monday, April 6, 2020 at 1 pm. She was born in Manchester, Tennessee on June 16, 1937 to the late Bart and Dorothy Rust.  She was preceded in death by her two brothers, DV Fletcher and Charlie Rust.

Surviving is her husband of 65 years, Russell Gullett; her two sons Douglas (Trish) Gullett of Bristol, and Kenny (Denise) Gullett of Edwardsburg.  Also surviving are her four grandchildren Shannon Gullett, Heather Ek, Travis Gullett, and Chelsea Scapino; and 8 great grandchildren, Gianni, Alexis, Madie, Ellie, Hadley, Emma, Evie, and Adalyn.

Virginia retired from Gemeinhardt after 25 years of service to spend more time with her family.  She liked baking and gardening and tending to her flowers.  She loved to spend her free time shopping.  Most of all Virginia loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Virginia and Russell were members of the Willowdale Church of Christ.

There will be no public visitation and the funeral will be a private ceremony with burial at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.  A celebration of life ceremony will be held at a later date for family and friends.
