Obituary

Vincent Joseph Drust, born on January 27, 1967, passed away on November 6, 2024, after a hard-fought battle with cancer, surrounded by his family. Vince always found joy in life's simple pleasures-tackling crosswords and word-finds, watching movies, listening to music, and spending time with family and his best friend, Greg. Vince had a great talent for playing the piano, beginning at age three. Our favorite memories include watching him and his maternal grandmother playing duets. He took piano lessons for decades with his very patient and kind teacher, Jenny Hooley, in Goshen. He also enjoyed live concerts with his friend, Jim.

Vince was predeceased by his parents, Raymond and Betty (Wilson) Drust, and his brother, Dan Drust. He is survived by his beloved siblings: his sister Jeanne Groth, and her husband, Ryan; his brother, Joseph Drust and his wife, Shelby; and his sister, Theresa Whitlock and her husband, Matt.

Vince had a quiet strength and valiantly fought cancer without complaint. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished in the hearts of those who knew him.
