ELKHART -- Vincent J. "Vince" Hartman, 22, of 1009 Princeton St., died at 3:27 p.m. Thursday (May 8, 2008) after an accident at home.
He was born Sept. 8, 1985, to Harold L. and Aaltje "Ali" (Roskam) Hartman.
His parents survive along with seven brothers, Matthew (Erin) Hartman, Kevin Hartman and Charles (Rachel) Hartman, all of Goshen, Shawn (Ginger) Mitchell of South Bend, Randy Hartman and Eric Mitchell, both of Elkhart, and Paul Hartman of Corydon; a sister, Crystal Hartman of Mishawaka; and several foster brothers and sisters.
Cremation has taken place. Pastor Al Kinsey will officiate a memorial service at noon Monday at

Mr. Hartman had worked at Goshen Wal-Mart, Elkhart Road, in the automotive department. He enjoyed watching movies, spending time with his friends and listening to music.
He had attended Concord High School and was a member of New Life Christian Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the church or White's Family Services of South Bend. Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, is in charge of arrangements.
