Victoria "Vicci" Lynn Moore, 67, of Elkhart passed away Thursday, January 18, 2024 at Majestic Care in Goshen Indiana. Vicci was born August 11, 1957 in Elkhart to Richard and Nancy (Cook) Moore. Vicci was preceded in death by paternal grandparents Charles and Marie Bartlett and maternal grandparents Edmund and Velda Cook, infant son Jeremy Edward Moore and aunts and uncles Tedd and Sue (Bartlett) Johnson, Edward Cook, Billy D. Cook, Margorie Ellen Cook.

Surviving are her parents, Richard "Dick" and Nancy Moore; brother, Jeffrey E. Moore; nephew, Adam R. Moore; and sister in law, Colleen (Stuck) Pratt; aunts and uncles, Jim and Gail Bartlett and Ron and Patricia (Cook) Steele; as well as many cousins.

Vicci was a graduate of Elkhart High School and received her Bachelors degree from IUSB, as well as many continuing studies related to environmental issues.

Vicci was a board member of Woodlawn Nature Center and active in continual Volunteer work through the center. She was also involved with the Elkhart County Conservation Club and the Elkhart Art League.

Vicci was passionate about environmental issues and strove to encourage and educate people of all ages to learn about the environment at the local level. She was an artist who enjoyed ceramics, pottery, painting, as well as an accomplished musician.

Vicci touched many people in her volunteer work as well as her career for the city of Elkhart, until her retirement.

A private celebration of life is planned for the immediate family. Donations may be made to Woodlawn Nature Center. Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St. in Elkhart is assisting the family with arrangements.
