Veronica May (Savoie) Louiselle, 81, of Elkhart, passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2024, at Brickyard Healthcare's Elkhart Campus. She was born on May 6, 1943, in Munising, MI, to the late Clarence Alexander and Opal Delila (Kiersey) Savoie. In July of 1974, Veronica married the love of her life, Floyd Louiselle. He passed away on March 20, 2013, after 38 years of marriage.
Veronica is survived by her children, Tom (Linda) Szymanski of Bristol, Teri (Gregg) Eash of Goshen, Gregory (Tracy) Louiselle of Bristol, and Jason (Ariel) Louiselle of Muncie; 15 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; siblings, Betty Savoie of Belleville, MI, and David (Mary) Savoie of Sanford, FL; and a loving host of extended family, friends, and acquaintances.
In addition to her husband and parents, Veronica was preceded in death by her sister, Deanna Turner, and brothers-in-law, Joe Turner, and Charlie Kline.
In accordance with Veronica's wishes, cremation has been chosen and no services have been scheduled at this time. Billings Funeral Home of Elkhart is assisting the family with cremation arrangements.
Veronica, alongside her husband, Floyd, owned and operated Floyd's Painting Services in Elkhart for over 35 years. She was also a longtime member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 273 in Bristol.
In her spare time, Veronica enjoyed watching classic films of any genre while also being a phenomenal cook, having a widespread recipe list of dishes her family cherished over the years.
Veronica, along with all the love and joy she shared, will be dearly missed by those whose hearts she touched throughout her life.
