Mr. Pavasco, 65, of Homewood Avenue, died at 2:06 a.m. Thursday (April 19, 2007) at home.
He was born July 26, 1941, in Homestead, Pa., to Michael and Marian (Brewer) Pavasco.
He is survived by a daughter, Tara (Gary) Robinson of Wakarusa; a son, Terry Pavasco of Osceola; six grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; his former wife, Mary Pavasco of Wakarusa; his 24-year companion, Martha L. "Marty" Roll of Elkhart; a brother, Michael Pavasco of Butler, Pa.; and two sisters, Marian (Harry) Newton of Clarksburg, Va., and Donna (Larry) Bolger of Bayonne, N.J.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mr. Pavasco retired in July 2006 from Phillips Industries in Elkhart and formerly worked at Adams Westlake Ltd. and Crown International. He was an avid Green Bay Packers and Chicago Cubs fan, enjoyed country music and was a fan of NASCAR, with Kasey Kahne his favorite driver. He also enjoyed working in the garden.
Mr. Pavasco was a Vietnam-era veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served from 1961 to 1966, when he was honorably discharged.
