ELKHART -- Tylor Jayson-Harold Lamb, 18, of Elkhart, died at 6:40 a.m. Thursday (March 25, 2010).
He was born Nov. 23, 1991, to Jerry D. Lamb and Annitta (Mark A.) Jackson.
He is survived by his parents; four sisters, Amanda D. (James) Wakefield, stationed abroad by the U.S. Air Force, Jessica N. (Glenn) Freel of Nappanee, and Crystal D. Lamb and Grace A. Dunsmore, both of Elkhart; one stepsister, Amber D. (David) Delgado of Elkhart; two brothers, Andrew H. Lamb of Manchester, Tenn., and Anthony B. Jackson of Elkhart; two stepbrothers. Brian T. (Lori) Jackson, stationed abroad by the U.S. Air Force, and Cameron C. Jackson of Elkhart; two maternal grandmothers, Judith A. Dunsmore of Elkhart and Claudette N. Jackson of Niles, Mich.; one maternal grandfather, Harold D. (Evelyn) Dunsmore of Muncie; one paternal grandmother, Nora M. Lamb of Gibsonton, Fla.; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and classmates.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Jamestown United Methodist Church in Jimtown. Pastor Burson, a youth counselor with Jimtown High School, and Nick White Sr., Tylor's mentor, will officiate. Burial will follow at Olive Cemetery in Elkhart.
Tylor was a junior at Jimtown High School and was active in numerous bands. He was involved with the school's academic teams and was on the fine arts team. He was a French club member and part of the bowling team. He was an avid reader.
Memorials may be given to the Jimtown Jr.-Sr. High School band.
