MIDDLEBURY — Trudy A. Norment, 62, of Middlebury, passed away Sunday, June 15, in her residence.
She was born Oct. 6, 1951, in LaGrange to Franklin E. and Beverly J. (Smith) Treece
Survivors include her husband, Thomas L. Norment of Middlebury; son Douglas (Lisa) Treece of St. Petersburg, Fla.; two daughters, Tammy Baltimore and Kelly Sutterby, both of Elkhart; four stepsons, Charles (Shannon) Norment of Raleigh-Durham, N.C., and Tommy Norment, Brian (Lisa) Norment and Timothy (Michele) Norment, all of Elkhart; brother Frank (Eva) Treece of Elkhart; three sisters, Peggy (Randy) Binkley of Middlebury, Kim (Richard) Flemming of Gainesville, Mo., and Lisa Crocket of Elkhart; two grandsons; three granddaughters; seven step-grandsons; three step-granddaughters; three great-grandsons; and two great-granddaughters.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her great-granddaughter, Sophia Baltimore.
Trudy worked for several years in the Elkhart area at various RV manufacturers prior to her retirement.
She enjoyed spending time sitting on her front porch, fishing, collecting dolls and especially being with her family and friends.
The family will receive friends for two hours prior to the 6 p.m. Friday, June 20, funeral service at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. Pastor Rick Pirtle will officiate.
Memorial contributions may be given to her family in memory of Trudy.
