"T" was a well-known bartender at Zimmy's Tavern near Union and Double D's in Goshen, always recognizable by his trademark ear-to-ear grin and ability to light up a room merely with his outgoing and fun-loving presence. He was an avid sports enthusiast and was chosen to travel to Europe with other area wrestlers on a good-will trip while he attended Elkhart Central High School. Besides wrestling, he loved football, track & field and coaching his son in little league. He was also an accomplished league bowler and belonged to the "700 Club" at Country Club Lanes. "T" had a huge heart that never knew a stranger, and he would always be the first to organize a benefit for someone in need. He loved riding his motorcycle, watching his beloved Cubbies, and spending time with his family and son.
Memorial donations may be given to the United Cancer Services of Elkhart County.
