She was born Oct. 8, 1970, in Elkhart to Gary C. and Betty J. (Rigley) Smith.

They survive along with one daughter, Tiffany A. Smith at home; one son, Trent A. Smith at home; and two brothers, Gary T. Smith and Devlin (Jena) Smith, both of Elkhart.

Friends may call one hour prior to Thursday's 11 a.m. funeral service at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St. Pastor Dale Turner will officiate with burial to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Osceola. Elkhart DAV 19 will host a dinner after the graveside services.

Ms. Smith was a receptionist for attorney Dave Grolimund for several years and worked at several area optometry offices, including C&B Optical and Dr. Myers Eye Care Associates, where she worked as a receptionist and lab technician.

She enjoyed riding motorcycles, shopping, spending time with her children and watching NASCAR, especially Tony Stewart. She was an avid animal lover and leaves behind her dogs, Diamond and Scooby.
