Tracy C. Kirts, 59, of Bristol, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at her residence. She was born on September 12, 1964, in Bremen, IN to Richard and Sandra (Crane) Baughman.

Tracy is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Thomas Kirts; her children, Thomas L. Kirts III and Mackenzie (Ryan Smythe) Prathaftakis; grandchildren, Kameron Prathaftakis, Chase Prathaftakis, Bradley Prathaftakis, Bently Smythe, Lilly Smythe and Maverick Cockrill; father, Richard Baugham; and brothers Ty (Susan) Baughman and Brian (Tammy) Baughman.

A celebration of life visitation will take place on Saturday, April 6, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin Street, Elkhart, IN 46514. Memorial donations may be made to Trio Animal Foundation, 516 North Ogden Ave. Suite 199, Chicago, IL 60642.

Tracy was a kind and caring person who would do anything to help someone in need. She worked for Elkhart Community Schools in the Career Center for many years. Tracy enjoyed what she did there and loved to make sure the children who attended school were well taken care of from providing them with food or snacks to donating coats. She had a welcoming personality and a smile that could light up the room. Tracy was very social and was never a stranger to anyone.

In her spare time, she enjoyed seeing her children and grandchildren. They were her entire world. Tracy would often take her grandchildren out to the zoo and spend time with her family on the beach when she would visit her son. She will be dearly missed by her loving family and many friends.
