Tracey Allen Roberts, age 49, passed away with his loving family at his side at Elkhart General Hospital June 17, 2021.
Tracey was born in Elkhart, Indiana to the late Steve Eastman and the late Virginia Dick Welch and was raised by his late dad Charlie Roberts in his youth in Chesterton, Indiana. He was also preceded in death by a brother Charles Wilson in 2019.
Tracey was the Lead Monkey with The Monkey's Unkle Band. Singing was his passion! Family was his world! Trucking was in his blood! He knew no strangers, he was always happy go lucky, and he was never shy to tell you that he was a Rock Star. He was a friend to everybody, tender, loving and a gentle giant, and a self-proclaimed comedian.
Tracey is survived by his wife Rachelle (Ball) Roberts and Rhyder Roberts of the home; his children Dewayne Matlock and his wife Georgeanna of Scottsville Kentucky, Cody Roberts of Chesterton, IN , Joshua Borkholder and his wife Allison of Elkhart, Andrew Ball and his wife Heather of Mishawaka, Sara Roberts of San Diego CA, Ali Borkholder of Elkhart; six grandchildren Matthew, Landon, X'zavior, Winona, Lucy and Evelyn; his brothers Danny Wilson and Hargis Wilson and his wife Kelly of Elkhart, David Marzini of Elkhart, Shawn Marzini and his wife Jessica of Elkhart; and a sister Sue Baumgardner and her husband Ron of Bristol and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Celebration of Life Service for Tracey will be held on Thursday June 24th at 5:00 PM At Bethel Assembly of God Church, 600 E Bristol St, Elkhart, Indiana, 46514 with Reverend David Lade officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday June 24th from 4:00 PM until 5:00 PM at the Bethel Assembly of God Church.
Memorials may be given to St Jude's Children's Research, and or to the charity of one's choice.
