She was born Oct. 11, 1961, in Elkhart to Velver and Elsie (Dancler) Dooley.

Ms. Dooley is survived by one daughter, Latedia Dooley of Elkhart; two grandchildren; five brothers, Velver "Jerry" (Michelle) Dooley III, Kenneth (Lisa Hayes) Dooley and Timothy (Martha) Dooley, all of Elkhart, Billy (Beth) Dooley of Goshen and Kerry (Barbara) Dooley of Germany; four sisters, Lisa Thomas of South Bend, and Marjorie Dooley, Jeanette Jones and Dorris (Tommy) Creer, all of Elkhart; and her longtime companion, Kerry Ford Elof Elkhart.

She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

Friends may call for one hour prior to Saturday's noon funeral service at Agape Missionary Baptist Church, 248 W. Wolf Ave., Elkhart. The Rev. King Dancler III will officiate, with burial to follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., is in charge of the arrangements.

Ms. Dooley attended Jimtown High School and Canaan Baptist Church. She had worked at Accra Pac, now KIK, for two years, until her health required her to retire. She had also worked at Elkhart Foam Products. Ms. Dooley enjoyed bowling, playing cards, dancing and listening to music, especially R&B.
