ELKHART — Tom L. Hobbs Jr., 66, of Elkhart, passed away after a sudden illness Tuesday, Nov. 15, at Golden Living Center.
Tom was born to the union of the late Geo and Letti Hobbs on April 24, 1950.
Surviving to cherish his memory are a sister, Loleta "Lisa" Lancaster, loving nieces and nephews, Antyune, Latroy, Lamar, Knioya and Celia Lancaster; and two grand-nephews, Javeair Lancaster and Marquez Vaughn.
Tom worked in the restaurant industry and at Faith Mission for many years.
Tom's life will be celebrated Tuesday, Nov. 22, with a memorial service beginning at 10:30 a.m. at the Faith Mission, 801 Benham Ave., Elkhart.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place.
Donations to his family are appreciated to help with expenses.
Tom's arrangements have been under the care of Billings Funeral Home in Elkhart.
