Obituary
ELKHART — Tokalee "Toka" Stanley, 72, of Elkhart, passed away Sunday, Aug. 24, at Elkhart General Hospital.
She was born Aug. 14, 1942, in Elkhart to Louie G. and Madonna L. (Ellsworth) Papa.
Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Leland "Lee" Stanley Sr., two sons, Scott Penninger and Leland W. Jr. (Toni) Stanley, and one brother, Louie "Bud" (LaResa) Papa, all of Elkhart; seven grandchildren, Shonda, Jeremy, Chelsea, Corey, Timmy "Timmy Tim", Sabryna and Lily; and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Toka Marie Stanley, and a brother, Danny "Butch" Papa.
She was a member of VFW Post 88 and DAV Chapter 19 Ladies Auxiliary in Elkhart.
The family will receive friends from noon until 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 30, at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart.
