ELKHART -- Toka G. Teague, 67, of Elkhart, died at 12:01 p.m. Thursday (March 19, 2009) in her home.
She was born on July 25, 1941, in Elkhart, to James and Leoto (Pepper) Smead. She married Ron L. Teague on Feb. 23, 1957, in Jeffersonville.
He survives with one son, Randy (Lori) Teague of Elkhart; one daughter, Rhonda (Jeff) Klopenstein, Edwardsburg, Mich.; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Two sons, Ronald Jr. and Scott, five brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.
Mrs. Teague worked at the Selmer Co. for more than 25 years and formerly worked at CTS, Michiana Healthcare and Switch Systems in Elkhart. She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church, Goshen, attended Elkhart High School and loved to go to garage sales and work in her yard.
Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, and for one hour prior to the 10 a.m. Monday service at Faith United Methodist Church, 22045 C.R. 18, Goshen. The Rev. Brian Cray will officiate. Graveside services and burial will follow in Rice Cemetery in Elkhart.
