IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Todd Raymond
Yeager
September 1, 1961 – August 4, 2024
Todd Raymond Yeager, 62, of Elkhart passed away too soon on Sunday, August 4, 2024 at East Lake Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Todd was born on September 1, 1961 in Elkhart to Ray Allen Yeager and Sandra June (Morse) Garrant. He married Lisa Yeager on November 25, 2005 in Elkhart.
He is preceded in death by his father, Ray Yeager and brothers, Mike Miller and Jeff Yeager; and is survived by his mother, Sandy (Wayne) Garrant of Plattsburgh, NY; his wife, Lisa of Elkhart; children, Jackie Brown, Jenny Yeager, Justin (Brooke) Yeager, Mystesia Yeager, Nicholas (Stephanie) Hanrahan, Jeremy (Kageen) Yeager and Cole Yeager; 13 beloved grandchildren; siblings, Greg Yeager, Kenneth Miller, Dean Miller and Jodie Lightfoot and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Todd honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Persian Gulf War from 1980 to 1983 and reenlisted again from 1989 to 1992. He was a hard-working tradesman, carpenter and for many years a foreman in the local R.V. industry. He was an avid music lover and enjoyed going to live music performances, from the local bars of Elkhart all the way to Key West and big concert venues in Colorado. If you were lucky, you got to hear his incredible voice around town, singing his favorite karaoke songs.
He was a lover of the ocean, sand in his toes, sunrises and sunsets, and swaying palm trees in the wind. In his spare time, he loved to paint tropical scenes and had a small business for a time selling 'My Happy Place' paintings.
Todd had a big personality and a heart to match. He would quickly make strangers into friends. One could always count on Todd to be there for them. His family was everything and he especially adored his grandchildren until his last breath.
