Tina Marie Poe, R.N., 53, of Elkhart, passed away suddenly at home following an illness on Wednesday, Jan. 09, 2019 at 7:37 am.

She was born in Marion, IN on Sept. 2, 1965 to the late Vernon and Ruby (Hamilton) Heil, and is also preceded in death by siblings Patty Hall, Cindy Manning and Victor Heil. Her significant other, Robert "Bobby" Archer, survives her at home.

Also surviving are children Heather Poe, Bradley (Morgan Myrick) Poe and Zoey Poe-Archer; grandson Jaylnn Poe and sister Sherri Plummer.

Billings Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Elkhart will host a memorial  Celebration of Life service for Tina on Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2019 at 2:00 pm with visitation beginning at 1 pm. Pastor Gary Sheets of the Middlebury Community Church of the Nazarene will officiate with cremation is to follow.

Tina worked as an area Registered Nurse for nearly 20 years, practicing at both Marion and Goshen Hospitals. She embraced life and lived it to the fullest, never afraid to be herself in any situation. She was a dedicated and loving mother, and always cherished any time she had to spend with her children and grandson.

Memorial donations may be given to the Elkhart Women's Shelter.
