IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Tina I.
Kauffman
December 26, 1956 – December 7, 2020
White Pigeon: -- Tina Irene Kauffman, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away on Monday, December 7, 2020 after a fight with COVID-19.
Tina was born on December 26, 1956 in LaGrange Hospital to Eldon (Eldy) and Christine Miller and spent her childhood in Topeka. She was a 1975 graduate of Westview High School, a 1976 graduate of Elkhart Beauty School and worked as a cosmetologist for many years beginning in the 1990s. She married Ron Kauffman in 1976 and they resided in the Shipshewana area for 44 years and raised three children before recently moving to White Pigeon, Michigan.
Anyone who met Tina never forgot her. She had a way of making it into people's hearts through her infectious laugh and unabashed personality. Tina's pride and joy were her grandchildren, whom she spoke of often and loved supporting in sports and activities, much like she did with her own kids. Tina had many hobbies including antiquing, photography, gardening and music. Classic Rock was always playing in her house, often with her singing along. Family was the most important thing in her life and she spent countless hours planning for the next holiday or family trip. Tina will be incredibly missed by many but will live on through memories of her vibrant personality and indomitable spirit.
Tina is preceded in death by her father Eldon (Eldy), mother Christine and brother Gary. She is survived by her husband Ron Kauffman; her three children, son Jarret (Melissa) Kauffman of Shipshewana, daughters Kristin (Eric) Hartz and Kara (Ben) Hooley, both of Indianapolis; her grandchildren, Braden Kauffman, Addison Kauffman, Asher Kauffman and August Hartz; and her sister Judy (Frank) Fought, several nieces, a nephew and many friends.

Van Buren St., Shipshewana, IN 46565. Enter from S. Van Buren St. A private graveside service, officiated by Pastor Dennis Berkey of Shore Church, will be Monday at Eden Cemetery, Topeka.
