Obituary
OSCEOLA — Timothy E. "Timm" Long, 64, of Osceola, passed away Monday, Nov. 21, at his residence.
He was born Sept. 9, 1952, in South Bend, to Marvin E. and Jean Long.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Chari F. Long of Osceola; one son, Marvin Long of Elkhart; one daughter, Celia Long of Elkhart; one brother, Marvin Long of Elkhart; one sister, Patricia Krowser of Elkhart; one son-in-law, Timothy A. Gibson of Elkhart; nine grandchildren, Ryder, Davon, BriAnna and Dylan Long, Desi Brown, Kaitlyn and Timothy Costner, Kylee and Kadin Wheaton; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Darci Long.
Timm was employed as a systems inspector in the RV industry for several years.
He formerly worked in the family business Long's Lock Shop.
Timm enjoyed working with wood and made many beautiful things for his family and friends. He also had a love for animals and will be missed by his two faithful companions, Buck and Daisy.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 28, at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart.
Memorials may be given in Timm's name to the Humane Society of Elkhart County.
