Timothy "Timmy" Dooley, 63, of Elkhart, went Home to His Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, February 18, 2023 in South Bend.

Timmy was born on November 24, 1959 to the late Velver Dooley II and Elsie Marie (Dancler) Dooley in Elkhart.

He is survived by his sons, Timothy and Zachary Dooley; siblings, Marjorie Dooley, Kenny Dooley, Jerry Velver Dooley III, Kerry Dooley, and Billy Dooley; mother of his children, Martha Dooley; and many nieces and nephews.

Timmy loved God with all his heart and soul. He enjoyed all sports especially basketball and bike riding. Timmy came from a musical family and enjoyed singing. He collected treasured items and lovingly referred to them as "God's Blessings".

Timmy's forgiving spirit was modelled after Jesus Christ. He loved his family and he will be greatly missed.

A Homegoing Memorial Service for Timmy's Life will be on Saturday, March 4, 2023 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at Canaan Missionary Baptist Church, 933 Fieldhouse Avenue, Elkhart, IN 46517 with Rev. Mike Carpenter officiating.
