BROWNSBURG — Timothy James Bogue, 30, formerly of Elkhart, passed away from a cardiac event on Sunday, Oct. 11, 2015, while on vacation in Mexico.
He was born in South Bend to Terry and Diana (Righter) Bogue. He married Lyndzi (Leers) on October 2008.
She survives, as well as Jacoby and Elias Bogue, and an unborn child. Also surviving are his sisters, Tami (Tim) Schrock, Shelly (Luke) Carpenter and Tiffani (Jason) Hill, and a brother, Andy (Jennifer) Bogue, nine nephews and seven nieces.
He was preceded in his death by a nephew, Graham Carpenter.
Timothy was a graduate of Concord High School. He served in the United States Navy from 2007 to 2012, the majority of which was spent in VFA-34 and aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) as an aviation electronics technician. He was most recently employed as a field service engineer for Pressco Technology Inc.
Timothy was a devoted husband and loving father. He was committed to his Christian faith, and it was evident in the way he lived his life. He found great joy in spending time with his family. He also found pleasure in watching the Indianapolis Colts and playing with his dogs.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 19 at Billings Funeral Home. A service celebrating his life will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20, in Sugar Grove Church. Burial will follow at Sugar Grove Cemetery. Officiating will be his uncle, Pastor Ken Jackson, and Pastor Ray Laborde.
