Obituary
ELKHART — Timothy M. "Tim" Alwine, 63, of Elkhart, passed away Thursday, April 30, at home.
He was born in South Bend on April 10, 1952 to the late Donald and Rose Alwine.
He married Sandy J. Reames on June 24, 1972, in Elkhart. She survives at home.
Also surviving are his children, Angela Carter of Provo, Utah, and Tim Alwine II of Elkhart; his sister, Alberta Smith of Elkhart, three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
At the family's request, private services have been scheduled. Billings Funeral Home is assisting the family with the cremation arrangements.
Tim worked in the RV industry nearly his entire life. He was an avid fisherman and an awesome dad who loved playing with his Wii with his family and grandchildren. He was an avid NASCAR No. 14 Tony Stewart fan and was a U.S. Army veteran who served in Germany.
