ELKHART — Timothy A. "Timmy" Shalley, 50, of Elkhart, passed away Monday, Sept. 26, 2011, at Elkhart General Hospital.
An Elkhart native, he was born May 7, 1961, to Thomas H. Shalley Jr. and Lula L. (Sargent) Shalley who survive.
Also surviving are son Eric Shalley, daughter Britni Shalley, brothers Thomas L. (Debbie) Shalley and Kevin T. Shalley and sister Rebecca Shalley-Gattman, all of Elkhart; five granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Vicky Schultz.
Timmy was employed as a mechanic for several years. He loved to fabricate and build various items, especially upside-down bikes. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and, in the winter, riding his four-wheeler in the snow. Timmy loved spending time with family and friends.
A gathering of family and friends will be one hour prior to Monday's 7 p.m. memorial service at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart.
