Thomas Edward Reece Crowder, 74, of Goshen, passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at his home.

Tom was born in Gallatin, TN to the late James Edward Crowder and Beulah Mae (Hutchison) Crowder. Tom married the love of his life, Cathy (Meadows) Crowder on April 13, 2019 in Goshen.

He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Beulah; first wife, Ann Crowder and sister, Hattie Belle Crowder.

Tom is survived by his wife, Cathy Crowder; children, Chris Crowder, Laura Munz, Lisa Crowder and Jeffrey C. (Shawna) Crowder; brother, Emmett (Collette) Crowder; sisters, Martha (Ken) Leach and Bonnie (Gary) Hartwell; 13 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and stepdaughters, Cristina (Ross) Funk and Teresa Ray; and several nieces and nephews.

Tom honorably and proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War era. Tom last worked as a driver at Michiana Auto Auction in which he enjoyed his job greatly.

Tom was a member of the VFW Post 360 in Mishawaka and D.A.V. 19 in Goshen.

In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and golfing with his friends.

Tom was a tremendous sports fan, supporting Notre Dame football, the Indianapolis Colts and his beloved Indiana Hoosiers.

Family was everything to Tom. Whenever there was a family event, Tom was sure to be there.

He was a warm, kindhearted man and will be greatly missed.

A Gathering for family and friends will be from 3:00pm to 7:00pm on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at the VFW Post 360, 1307 E. Jefferson Blvd, Mishawaka, IN 46545. Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, IN 46514 is assisting the family.
