Thomas "Ed"  Krotzer, 78, of Elkhart, passed away on Thursday, July 3, 2025 in his home surrounded by his loved ones.

Ed was born in Kendallville, IN on April 20, 1947 John Krotzer and Gladys (Helzel) Krotzer.

Ed is preceded in death by parents, John and Gladys.

Ed is survived by his daughter, Tamara Rose of Ligionier, IN and son, Larry Dean Krotzer of Ft. Wayne; sisters, Connie Glass and Fern Wentworth; family friend, Sandy Schroeder; 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; and 6 great great grandchildren. Ed was an accomplished and talented carpet layer for most of his life working in the RV industry.  He was very handy and could fix anything.

Ed could be found playing pool with his friend at Phil's Corners. In his free time, Ed enjoyed BBQ cookouts and hanging out with his family and friends around the bond fire.

He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and mushroom hunting.

Most of all, he enjoyed hanging out with family and friends.

Ed has a big heart and he would give the shirt off of his back.

There will be a celebration of life service for Ed on Saturday, July 26, 2025 from 12-5pm at 23536 Linden Dr., Elkhart, IN 46516.
