Thomas "Tommy" E. Mitchell, 21, formerly of Elkhart, passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2023.

Tommy was born on July 28, 2001 in Elkhart, IN to TJ Allen Mitchell and Jennifer (Nichols) Miller.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Jennifer Miller.

Tommy is survived by his father, TJ (Heather) Mitchell of Elkhart; siblings, Hunter, Brandon, Gunner, Logan, Emily and Sheyenne; nephew, Benjamin; niece, Lilliana; and aunts, uncles and cousins; and friend, Leah Williams.

Tommy graduated from Jimtown High School in 2020. Tommy most recently started his career path as a correctional officer with the City of Mishawaka.

Tommy admired and enjoyed cars. He collected toy figures in his spare time. Tommy enjoyed going out and hanging out with his friends.

A Private Celebration of Life Service for Tommy will be held at a later date.
