She was born Aug. 31, 1934, in Phippsburg, Maine, to Arthur and Mabel (Mann) Williams. She married David E. Longacre on Dec. 5, 1953, in Phippsburg. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by a son, Dale (Pam) Longacre of Elkhart; a daughter, Jackie Longacre of Solen, N.D.; a granddaughter; and a brother, Ralph (Judy) Williams of West Bath, Maine.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, David Longacre; two sisters, Louise Morse and Adelaide Mott; and four brothers, Arthur, Edward, Donald and John Williams.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Greg Serasino of Grace Brethren Church, Osceola, will officiate and entombment will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.

Mrs. Longacre worked as a baker at Brookdale Junior High School for many years, and ran an in-home day care service. She was a member of the Osolo Township Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and enjoyed gaming and playing bingo.

Memorials may be given to the Dollars for Scholars David E. Longacre Memorial Scholarship Fund, the American Cancer Society, the American Diabetes Association or the Osolo Township Fire Department.
