MICHIGAN CITY — Theodore "Ted" Roosevelt Robinson, 72, of Michigan City and formerly of Elkhart, passed away from natural causes Nov. 3 at St. Anthony Memorial Hospital in Michigan City.
He was born in Turrell, Ark., on Jan. 18, 1943, to the late Eddie "Jojo" and Cleola (Brown) Robinson.
Preceding him in death were his siblings, Ella Mae Peoples, Leroy Robinson and Sadie Pegues.
Left to cherish his memory are his siblings, Eddie (Tonya), Willie and Jimmy Robinson, Leslie (William) Wall, Lelia Neely, Ollie Hurt and Delois Barnes; and a host nieces, nephews, cousins, grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews.
Friends and family may gather Saturday, Nov. 14, at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, where a viewing will be from noon to 1 p.m. followed by a graveside committal in Rice Cemetery in Elkhart.
Ted worked in the local RV industry. He will be best remembered for his love of eating and spending time with his family and friends.
