ELKHART — Thelma L. (Swartz) Freel, 87, of Elkhart, passed away Friday, March 25, at Golden Living Center.
She was born Dec. 10, 1928, to the late O.D. and Venetta (McNeal) Swartz.
She is survived by two sisters, Joyce and Marilyn; two of her four children, a son, Michael D. Freel, and a daughter, Patricia K. Cobb; six grandchildren, Rita Menzie, Richard Freel, Angela Freel, Lori Miller, Jennifer Freel and Michael R. Freel; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Leonard R. Freel and Stanley J. Freel.
She has been laid to rest in Olive Cemetery.
