She was born May 11, 1919, in Berrien County, Mich., to William F. and Florence (Wilhelm) Wagner. She married Harold E. Kline on April 22, 1939, in Elkhart. He preceded her in death.
Mrs. Kline is survived by one daughter, Karen (Robert) Newland of Elkhart; one son, Charles "Chuck" (Nancy) Kline of Bristol; three grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Donald (Wilma) Wagner of Elkhart.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Bill, Howard and Marvin Wagner.
There will be no visitation or funeral. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Osceola followed by a 2 p.m. memorial service at the chapel at Beverly Living Center, 1001 W. Hively Ave., Elkhart. The Rev. Joe Smith of Dunlap United Methodist Church will officiate both services. Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Kline worked at CTS and Robertson's Department Store, both of Elkhart, for many years until her retirement in 1956. She was a member of Dunlap United Methodist Church and enjoyed Bible study at the nursing center. She liked horse shows, rodeos, playing cards and bingo, and spending time with her grand- and great-grandchildren. She was a lifelong volunteer for the American Red Cross.
