ELKHART — Thelma Marie Blough, 93, of Elkhart, passed away Saturday morning, Jan. 31, at Elkhart Hospice House.
Thelma was born May 13, 1921, in Elkhart, to the late Earl and Helen (Schultz) Youngblood.
Surviving are her daughter, Pam (Dale) Longacre of Elkhart; granddaughter Tiffany Longacre of Elkhart; and a brother, Louis (Barbara) Youngblood of Hiawassee, Ga.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Youngblood, and grandson David Longacre.
Thelma formerly worked as a dressmaker for the Smoler Dress factory. She then worked for over 25 years for G.L. Perry as a floor person and in the fabric area at the Pierre Moran Mall store, from when it first opened until the time it closed. Thelma enjoyed collecting bells and loved hummingbirds.
Committal services for Thelma will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4, in the mausoleum chapel at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Burial will follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be given to Elkhart Hospice House, 22579 Old U.S. 20, Elkhart, IN 46516.
