A Time to be Born

Tevorri Hawkins, affectionally known as TJ was born on March 30, 1977 in Chicago Illinois to Elaine Hawkins and James Lee. He has one sibling Tourain Davis who loved him dearly. Bonus siblings Tasia Davis and Josiah Lenoir.

A Time to Live

TJ gave his life to Christ at a very early age. He was baptized at 1st Corinthian MBC in Chicago by Reverand Harvey Spivey.

As a young man he moved to Elkhart Indiana to be closer to his mother. While in Indiana he enjoyed working as a welder. He also met and married Sherry Slade. No children were born to this union. He was a happy man and always kept a smile on his face. Those close to him describe him as adventurous, polite, family oriented, fearless, mannerable, honest, loving, generous and amazing! If you knew him, you loved him. His eyes would swallow you up and capture your attention.

A Time to Rest

TJ transitioned from this world on June 13, 2024 at 5:41 PM. His grand parents Edna and Joe Davis, Catherine and Albert C Lee Sr, and Chester aka Paw Paw all preceded him in death. He leaves to cherish his memories a loving mother Elaine (Jay) Lenoir. Better known as MY POPS.

His father James E Lee a brother Tourain (Tan) Davis, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews as well as God brothers Courtney Johnson and Christopher Brison. He also had a special friend Jessica Robinson.
