ELKHART -- Terry Leon Telgenhoff, 58, of 52080 Brookstream Circle, died at 2:23 p.m. Tuesday (May 6, 2008) in Hospice House of South Bend.

He was born May 24, 1949, in Niles, Mich., to Walter and Laura (Elliott) Telgenhoff.

Mr. Telgenhoff is survived by a sister, Diane (Charles) Martin of Bourbon; and two brothers, Irwin Telgenhoff of Elkhart and Jimmy Hopper of Niles.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Deborah Grant and Pamela Seidner.

There will be no viewing or funeral services. Cremation will take place. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at United Pentecostal Church, Bourbon. Pastor Mark Cottrill will officiate.

Mr. Telgenhoff worked at ADEC Industries, but loved painting houses and buildings. He enjoyed spending time on his computer, typing and watching family shows like "Little House on the Prairie."

He was a member of Bourbon United Pentecostal Church and played baseball and basketball on the ADEC teams.

Mr. Telgenhoff was well known for getting along with everyone.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to ADEC or the Hospice House, South Bend.
