He was born June 10, 1944, in LaPorte.

He is survived by his close friends, Richard Stanislawski and Shelly Ray, both of Elkhart, one son, one daughter and three sisters.

There will be no visitation or services. Cremation has taken place. Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., is assisting with arrangements.

Mr. Rose worked in the RV industry in the area for many years for several different companies. He formerly worked at Dollar General stores and at Maxim Motors in Elkhart.

He loved his terrier mix dog, Sissy, the excitement of going to the casino boat and wetting a line.
