DAYTON, Ohio ? Teresa F. ?Terri? Loofboro, 45, of Dayton passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2011, at the home of her father in Elkhart, Ind.
Terri was born at Fort Rucker, Ala., on Feb. 14, 1966, to Forrest J. ?Foe? and M. Faye (Cagle) Macik. She married Daniel R. Loofboro on May 6, 2000, in Dayton.
He survives, as well as her father, Foe Macik of Elkhart; brother Tony Macik and niece Kyley Peyton Macik of Elkhart; grandmother Louise Obiala of Chicago; and her father- and mother-in-law, Judy and Richard Loofboro of Hastings, Mich. She will be missed by her faithful dog friend, Jed.
She was preceded in death by her mother, M. Faye Macik in 2008. Terri formerly worked as a human resource manager for LexisNexis, a legal research services firm. She was a 1984 Elkhart Memorial High School graduate and received her B.A. in business management from Dayton University in 1989. She loved music, especially the Grateful Dead, and going to concerts to hear her favorite bands.
A gathering of family and friends will be from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. A tribute service will conclude the afternoon beginning at 3 p.m. At Terri?s request, Cremation will follow.
