Tamyra S.
Rosenberry
Nov 6, 1947 — Jun 21, 2026
Tamyra Suzette Rosenberry, 78, of Bristol, passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2026, at Elkhart General Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born on November 6, 1947 and married Dwayne Rosenberry in December of 1981 where they shared a beautiful home and had a wonderful, blended family that she loved immensely.
Tamy is survived by her daughters, Michelle “Shelly” (Todd) Troyer and Franci Hughes; step children, Michael (Barb) Rosenberry, Donna Hoogenboom, Jill (Greg) Churchill; grandchildren, Kali (Ryan) Miller, Marisa (Joseph) Datena, Landon Troyer; step grandchildren, Evan Rosenberry, Erin Rosenberry, Lauren and Logan Hoogenboom, Joseph Churchill, Jake (Bell) Churchill, and Cole (Nicole) Churchill; great grandchildren, Vivi and Vinny; and step great grandchildren, Gwen and Vinny; and best friend of many years, Maggie Weaver.
Tamy was an incredibly giving person who loved unconditionally and fiercely. She owned and operated a pet grooming business out of her home welcoming all kinds of dogs into her home with open arms. All of her regular “customers” knew her by name and enjoyed the inviting atmosphere of her home. One of her greatest achievements in life was living long enough to hold all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her great grandbabies were her pride and joy, and she never missed a chance to talk to them via video chat or in person. In Tamy’s spare time, she enjoyed playing card games, especially Shanghai and she loved shopping with her friend, Maggie. Words cannot describe how much Tamy will be missed by her loving family and friends.
In accordance with Tamy’s wishes, no public services will be held at this time. Cremation was chosen and will take place at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St. in Elkhart. A private family celebration of life will take place at a later date. Memorial donations may be given to the Humane Society of Elkhart County, 54687 County Road 19, Bristol, IN 46507.
