She was born Nov. 22, 1968, in Elkhart to Robert L. and Gloria L. (Shoffner) Lightfoot. She married Brent A. Hill on Nov. 27, 1993, in Niles, Mich.

He survives along with two daughters, Alicia K. Sawyer and Katherine R. Hill, both at home; two sons, Kyle J. Coleman and Joseph R. Rose, both of Niles, Mich.; her father, Robert L. Lightfoot of Edwardsburg, Mich.; her mother, Gloria L. Lightfoot of Elkhart; one sister, Patricia A. Lightfoot of Elkhart; grandfather, John E. Fisher of Mishawaka; and grandparents, Richard and Madelyne Martin of Elkhart.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Patricia J. Fisher, and grandfather, Jess H. Shoffner.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart and one hour prior to the 10 a.m. service Tuesday, also at the funeral home. Pastor David Klahr of New Creation Fellowship will officiate.

Burial will follow in Little Pine Cemetery in Goshen.

Mrs. Hill was a sales instructor at MSC Industrial Supply for seven years. She formerly worked at Ascot Enterprises Inc. and Liberty Mutual Insurance Co.

A homemaker and mother, she was a 1987 graduate of Elkhart Memorial High School and attended New Creation Fellowship.

She served on the board of directors of the Livewire Project, which raised funds for local cancer patients through United Cancer Services of Elkhart County. She loved animals and her cat and she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
