Suzanne was born Dec. 30, 1933, in Rockford, Ill., to Sheldon F. and Diana Day (Williams) Manning. She was formerly married to Dale Fahlbeck, who survives, along with one daughter, Pamela J. Fahlbeck of Bristol; two sons, Stuart D. Fahlbeck of Osceola and Michael S. (Cheryl) Fahlbeck of Nappanee; six grandchildren Christopher Faulk, Tim Fahlbeck, Andrea Unsicker, Libby Winkelman and Amanda and Angie Fahlbeck; two great-great-grandchildren, Katlyn Fahlbeck and Dillon Winkelman; and two sisters, Diane (Ike) Schoonover of Roscoe, Ill., and Sharon (Bill) Weigand of Rockford.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, where funeral services will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday. Bob Price will officiate. Burial will be in Prairie Street Cemetery.

Suzanne was a Licensed Practical Nurse formerly employed at Regional Home Health Care in Elkhart and at the Veterans Hospital in Murfreesboro, Tenn. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, Newcomer's Club and was a former member and chairperson of the Elkhart General Hospital Auxiliary. She also was a member of the Herb Society, the Elkhart Moose Lodge and Elkhart Elks Club.
