ELKHART — Susan J. Taylor, 64, of Elkhart, was found passed away at her home at 1:17 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18, 2013. She had been in ill health.
She was born Nov. 29, 1948, in Chicago to Howard and Lois (Becker) Gardner.
Her father preceded her in death, but her mother, Lois, survives in Elkhart.
Also surviving are her sons, Michael J. Taylor of Mooresville and Chad S. Taylor of Elkhart; siblings Douglas "Doug" Gardner and Janet Boomershine, both of Elkhart; and grandchildren Paige, Payton and Olivia Taylor.
Services will be Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2013, at Billings Funeral Home in Elkhart, with visitation beginning two hours prior to the 4 p.m. funeral. In accordance with the family's wishes, Susan is to be cremated following the services.
Susan was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening and spending time with her friends and family.
