Susan C. Miller, 69, of Bristol, was called to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at Elkhart General Hospital after her courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Trenton, MI on April 27, 1951 to the late Jacob and Zanta (McLeod) Gering.

Susan is survived by her daughter, Michelle (Phillip Hill) Moore; son, Mike (Ashley Puckett) Hoskins; grandchildren, Harley Moore, Jerrid Moore, Gavin Hoskins, Jayla Hoskins, Chloe Hoskins, and Peyton Puckett; great granddaughter, Annabelle Moore; brothers, Wally (Marge) Gering and Kenny (Caroline) Gering; and sister, Robin (Wayne) Miller. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Jacob Miller, who preceded her in 2010; parents; brothers, Rick Gering, Allen Gering, and Danny Gering; and sister, Judy Banks. The family wishes to express a special thank you to Dennis Zerbe and Cindy Davis for helping take care of Susan during her time of need.

A celebration of life gathering will take place on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 from 4-6 p.m. at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St. in Elkhart. Please follow proper social distancing procedures and please bring a face mask to wear during services. In accordance with Susan's wishes, a cremation will follow services.

Susan was a loving and faithful woman who was very devoted to her faith. She worked in production for Accra-Pak for several years and was a very active member of Mottville Community Church in Michigan. Susan loved the lord and enjoyed being a servant leader at her church by volunteering to clean the church, lend a hand during events, and loved going on retreats with her church friends to grow closer to the Lord. In her spare time, she enjoyed riding her Harley motorcycle and relished in the freedom riding gave her. She also liked to put together jigsaw puzzles and cheer on her favorite team, Michigan. Susan's grandchildren and great granddaughter were the apple of her eye and she enjoyed spending time with them every chance she had. Susan will be missed greatly by her loving family and many friends.
